Traffic Signal Installation at Del Mar Blvd. and Michigan Ave.

The City of Pasadena Department of Transportation will begin installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Del Mar Blvd. and Michigan Ave. to enhance pedestrian safety at this crossing.
This project was influenced by the efforts of Caltech community members and leaders who have consistently advocated for improved pedestrian safety in the area. Construction is scheduled for June 5–12, followed by a short pause. Work will resume in July and continue through the end of the year.
Construction hours will be 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. daily and may intermittently affect traffic flow and street parking in the area.
