Women's History Month: Malalai Joya

In honor of International Women s Day, ISP, the Women's Center, and the Caltech Y present a talk by Malalai Joya, a member of the Afghanistan National Assembly. Joya, a women's literacy and health worker, denounced warlords at a constitutional forum two years ago and received numerous death threats. She nevertheless continues to speak out against the mujahideen and in support women s rights in Afghanistan.
