Abstract: Edan Lepucki will read from her latest novel, Time's Mouth-- an intergenerational family saga about time travel, secrets, and California—and take part in a conversation with Professor of English and Dean of Undergraduate Studies Jennifer Jahner, about the writing (and reading) life.

Speaker Bio: Edan Lepucki is the New York Times bestselling author of the novels California, Woman No. 17, and Time's Mouth, which is longlisted for the Joyce Carol Oates Prize. She is also the editor of Mothers Before: Stories and Portraits of Our Mothers as We Never Saw Them, and her fiction and nonfiction have been published in the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times Magazine, McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, The Cut, and Esquire Magazine, among other publications. She is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Caltech.
