White Fragility Debrief

We had 100+ people at Caltech sign up to read White Fragility during the month of July 2020. We invite you to join us for this seminar if you read the book with us or not. All are welcome for this online event

Dr. Nolan Cabrera is a nationally-recognized expert in the areas of racism/anti-racism on college campuses, Whiteness, and ethnic studies. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Arizona., and was the only academic featured in the MTV documentary White People.

Dr. Cabrera will briefly describe his concept of White Immunity, or the social inoculation that White people receive as a result of being White in a systemically racist society. It is his development over White Privilege, and he will directly relate to White Fragility is his talk/discussion.
