Are your figures and cover submissions the best they can be?
Felice Frankel, Research Scientist, Department of Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Science Photographer,

During this workshop, Felice Frankel will discuss key elements in visually communicating data, images, and cover submissions for journals and presentations. Included will be a hands-on exercise to challenge your thinking.

Frankel is an award-winning science photographer whose images have appeared in many publications, including the covers of Scientific American, Science, Nature, and Physics Today. She will also be giving a public lecture at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 10, in the Baxter Lecture Hall. Click here for more information.

About the Visual Culture Program
The Caltech-Huntington Program in Visual Culture, which is funded by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and based in the Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), features undergraduate course offerings, guest lecturers, and other programming to foster conversations between humanists and scientists. Its activities are organized by HSS and other Caltech faculty in collaboration with scholars at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.
