Trauma-Informed Yoga
In this yoga practice, facilitators from Peace Over Violence – our local sexual assault prevention center – will use the healing power of meditation, mindfulness, and body movement to support people in recovery for whatever traumas they may have experienced or are experiencing. This practice can help survivors reconnect with their bodies in ways that can promote self-acceptance, breath control, and physical well-being.
