A bold, updated reimagining of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters.
In Winter 2026, TACIT will explore the text of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, a Russian tragicomedy around themes of unfulfilled dreams, social decline, and the bittersweet gap between aspirations and reality, reimagined to be set in 1950s California. The sisters yearn for a more exciting existence as stagnation gnaws away at them. This bold and experimental reimagining of Anton Chekhov's classic drama will be infused with visions of our futures, past and present.
