The personal side of science
Join us at Caltech's Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach for the Community Science Academy's first Humanities workshop, focused on the personal side of Science. University researchers will discuss their lives and work, and participants will go through our version of Career Day, creating virtual companies and prototyping jobs of the future.
This workshop is part of a series presented by the Community Science Academy, an official professional development provider for PUSD and LAUSD. Our ultimate goal is to enable teachers and students from many schools and universities to join our community of learners engaged in large-scale research projects, using inexpensive and widely available technologies.
