Terra String Quartet
"This young quartet displayed great musicality and superb ensemble playing throughout the performance…" - Hyde Park Herald
The Terra String Quartet has performed at numerous festivals and venues across the world, and is deeply invested in education and community work. In addition to winning the Naumburg Chamber Music Competition in 2025, the quartet also won top prizes at Bordeaux and Wigmore Hall; in 2023 at Melbourne and Osaka; in 2022 the Fischoff, and also the Anderson Career Development Prize at Banff.
The quartet is composed of graduates of The Juilliard School, The New England Conservatory, Harvard University, and The Curtis Institute of Music, four musicians known for their sincere storytelling, commitment to artistic excellence, and versatile approach to repertoire, and they strive to foster conversation and genuine human connection through their performances and pedagogy.
