Description:

Caltech integrates excellence in research and education at every level. One manifestation of this commitment is our recognition of great teaching by instructors and teaching assistants through Institute-wide and division-specific awards. This exhibit highlights the many and varied teaching awards at Caltech, each with a unique emphasis, collectively reflecting our community's values and strengths. These awards represent the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by great teachers and mentors in our midst.

We will have refreshments, exhibit viewing, and activities for the whole hour, and enjoy remarks from the following Caltech community members at approximately 12:15 PM:

• Geoff Blake, Vice Chair of the Faculty, Chair of the Feynman Prize Committee, Professor of Cosmochemistry and Planetary Sciences, and Professor of Chemistry
• Arushi Gupta, ARC Chair, Class of 2021
• Doug Rees, Roscoe Gilkey Dickinson Professor of Chemistry; Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute; Dean of Graduate Studies
• Cindy Weinstein, Vice Provost for Education, Chief Diversity Officer, and Eli and Edythe Broad Professor of English
