Come learn about what makes for an effective teaching statement! We will discuss the following:

• What is a Teaching Statement (or Statement of Teaching Philosophy)?

• What role does it play in the academic job search?

• How can you go about writing an effective Teaching Statement for yourself?

This workshop will be led by Dr. Jennifer Weaver, Assistant Director of the Caltech Center for Teaching, Learning, & Outreach, and hosted by the Caltech Postdoc Association. It is open to all members of the Caltech community.
