Come learn how to draft your own effective teaching statement!

We will discuss the following:

• What is a Teaching Statement (or Statement of Teaching Philosophy)?

• What role does it play in the academic job search?

• How can you go about writing an effective Teaching Statement for yourself?

This workshop will be led by Dr. Jenn Weaver, Associate Director for University Teaching at the Caltech Center for Teaching, Learning, & Outreach, and hosted by the Caltech Postdoc Association. It is open to all members of the Caltech community.
