Student Shop Safety Hands-on Training: Woodworking Equipment

This is a mandatory class for persons using the Caltech Student Shop. Instruction covers hazards in the shop, personal protective equipment, and safe machine operation. The class will provides hands-on training on the use of equipment available in the Student Shop with particular emphasis on woodworking equipment. Persons attending the class must wear shop appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes and long pants.
