Special Chemical Biology Seminar

The overarching goal of my research is to uncover and understand microbial chemistry that underlies the biological world. I use a combination of tools in mechanistic enzymology, microbiology, and bioinformatics to discover and characterize metabolic functions with biomedical, biotechnological, and environmental applications. My seminar will demonstrate how this multifaceted approach can reveal novel biocatalytic strategies to carry out challenging chemical reactions with important biological implications.
