- How your Social Security benefit amount is determined and taxed
- Considerations for deciding when to begin claiming Social Security benefits
- Steps you should take as you prepare for retirement
Before the presentation, we encourage you to go to www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount to create a "My Social Security" account to check your estimate and review other tools/information.
This webinar will be hosted by a Los Angeles County Public Affairs specialist from the Social Security Office. Please note that this session is not permitted to be recorded.
