What is Safe Zone?

The Safe Zone Ally Program is a network of Caltech students, faculty, postdocs, and staff who are visibly supportive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and questioning students and of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. Safe Zone Trainings help teach students, faculty, postdocs, and staff how to create safe spaces and how to act as allies for LGBTQIA+ people.

Join us for our second virtual SafeZone Training. Thursday, July 16, 12:00-1:30 PM. Register in advance. Please plan to stay for the full hour and a half.

It's also one of the "requirements" of the Caltech Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador program – which you're all invited t sign up for
