Promises of Machine Learning for Space Exploration.
Shahrouz Ryan Alimo, Scientist, Machine Learninig, JPL,

Machine Learning has disturbed many industries including space exploration. A critical factor for space exploration missions is to maximize the science objective with minimum samples in a safe manner. In this talk, we will discuss how machine learning approaches can help scientists to maximize their science objectives via a multiple satellites. Also, we'll talk about the safety of the system regarding information security and robotic systems. Next, we discuss how technologies developed in the self-driving car industry is extended to self-navigating spacecraft. Finally, we will show some results on small satellite constellation design and control.
