Field theory and non-perturbative effects in Lindbladian dynamics
Alex Kamenev, Professor, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Minnesota,

Dynamics of driven-dissipative quantum systems may sometimes be treated in Markovian approximation, resulting in the so-called Lindblad equation for the density matrix. In a many-body setting one may formulate a Keldysh-like field theory representation for the Lindbaldian evolution. I'll discuss some examples where such a representation is instrumental for treating dissipative tunneling events, deriving a proper kinetic theory and discussing disordered dissipative models.
