Game Change at the LHC
Maria Spiropulu, Associate Professor of Physics, Caltech,
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the largest and most complex scientific undertaking ever attempted. Its results will determine the future directions of high-energy physics. The LHC produced 7 TeV proton proton collisions in 2010 and 2011, and it is expected to produce 14 TeV proton proton collisions in 2014. We will discuss the game-changing elements and opportunities in the exploration of the TeV-scale with the LHC data and the impact of the most recent results.
