Intrinsic mirror symmetry - Part II
Mark Gross, Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, University of Cambridge,

Over the course of these lectures, I will explain some of the details of my construction with Bernd Siebert of a ring associated with log Calabi-Yau pairs (X,D) or Calabi-Yau degenerations X->S. This ring should be thought of as (part of) a relative quantum cohomology ring. If D has a zero-dimensional stratum, then the spectrum of this ring should be the mirror. If time permits, I will talk about an application of this work to compactifying moduli spaces of K3 surfaces (work with Hacking, Keel and Siebert).
