Mental Health First Aid Training (Part 2 of 2)
Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognized 8-hour program designed to help community members learn more about common mental health challenges, provide non-judgmental listening, and refer to both professional and self-help resources. The course will be held on two dates - Friday, February 7th and Friday, February 14th, from 1:00 - 5:00, and participants must attend both sessions in order to receive certification.
This course is open to students, faculty, staff, and postdocs. Mental Health First Aid focuses on how to help someone on the verge of a mental health crisis or in the middle of one. Participants must attend both classes.
