The last few days and weeks have been extremely challenging. COVID-19 is on all our minds, in the news, and now in every facet of our lives. Your emotional well-being is so important right now. Naturally, all of us are absorbing some level of anxiety now, so it's a great time to increase positive activities, like meditation.

Dr. Leila Gonzalez has graciously offered to provide remote meditation classes to the Caltech community. The class combines the ancient practice of meditation with current research on brain development. In addition, it provides simple tools that help incorporate the power of meditation into our daily lives.

Dr. Gonzalez has a PhD from Harvard University in Developmental Biology and was a postdoctoral fellow at Caltech performing research on brain development. She is currently training to become a meditation instructor with the Conscious Transformation Organization.

Classes will be held online via Zoom each Thursday at 7:00 p.m., from April 9th through May 14th.

Advance registration is required. Please plan to attend all six classes if at all possible.
