The Fermilab Holometer: Operation and RF correlation of twin 40m interferometers
Lee McCuller, Graduate Student, Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics, University of Chicago,

The Holometer experiment is designed as a broadband meterstick, correlating twin 40m power-recycled Michelson interferometers for length sensitivity. Now operating, it is integrating below shot-noise-limited length sensitivity to achieve 5*10^-21 meters/sqrt Hz. With this measurement, the co-located interferometers will detect or limit a theorized "quantum-geometric" uncertainty motivated from the holographic principle.

This talk will overview the optical/RF design and control of unsuspended 2kW interferometers with low background correlation.

We plan to broadcast this talk using SeeVogh.
