An overview of data quality issues in Advanced LIGO's second observing run
Jess McIver, LIGO, Caltech,

I will present an overview of the data quality features most impactful to

searches for transient gravitational wave signals in Advanced LIGO's second observing

run thus far. We will cover metrics for quantifying the impact of noise sources,

what's known about identified harmful noise sources, a comparison of data quality

features between O1 and O2, and potential mitigation strategies to improve search

performance.

We plan to broadcast these talks using TeamSpeak. Use a sub-channel of LIGO Lab called "LIGO Seminar," which is not password protected.

NOTE: These and all other scheduled LIGO seminars are listed on the LIGO Laboratory seminar calendar for convenient reference.
