Searching for continuous gravitational waves from Scorpius X-1
Badri Krishnan, Physics, AEI,

In this talk I will discuss ongoing efforts to detect long lived quasi-periodic  gravitational wave signals from

the low-mass X-ray binary system Scorpius X-1.  The search is limited computationally and I will focus

mostly on using a cross-correlation technique to meet the data analysis challenge.

We plan to broadcast these talks using TeamSpeak. Use a sub-channel of

LIGO Lab called "LIGO Seminar", which is not password protected.

NOTE: These and all other scheduled LIGO seminars are listed on the LIGO

Laboratory seminar calendar

OR on LIGO Website: Click on LIGO CIT, under Calendars, see LIGO Seminar
