Juneteenth Program: Dr. Antonio Banks
Dr. Banks is a Watts, California native who brings over ten years of experience in student affairs/services and educational research at four-year institutions, two-year institutions, and Non-Profit organizations. His experiences range from working as a Research Assistant, Resident Director, Program Director, Analyst for Educational Research Centers, Regional Coordinator and Statewide Coordinator. His current roles include the Director of Black and Males of Color Success at Compton College, Adjunct Faculty in the African American Studies Department at California State University Fullerton teaching the History of Racism and the Black Man in America, and the Statewide Student Charter Coordinator with the African American Male Education and Network Development organization (A2MEND) .
