IST Lunch Bunch

Visualization is as much a scientific effort as it is an artisan's endeavor to stitch together solutions that ensure the goal of the creation of effective communication vehicles. This talk explores the multidisciplinary aspect of visualization within the context of scientific research happening in an academic environment such as Caltech. This talk attempts to address the particular needs of campus researchers to create forwarding thinking visual solutions that are simultaneously strong exploratory and analysis tools as well as efficient generators of media for scientific publication and general audience outreach.
