Abstract: The Haah code represents an interesting gapped Hamiltonian scheme that has mostly resisted generalization. I will discuss a generalization, and its relationship with some of the unusual properties of the Haah code, as well as a further generalization to capture the lesser-known Haah B-Code that appears when performing an entanglement renormalization group transformation on the original Haah code.
