Intro to Course Design Workshop

This 2-hour workshop introduces the renowned process of "Backward Design" for courses, syllabi, and even for individual lectures, recitation and review sessions, or office hours.

Using a field-tested process for identifying and clarifying the most essential aspects of student learning in the course or unit, and then aligning how teaching will work to achieve those goals, participants will become familiar with a highly effective instructional design process through practice and immediate feedback.

Lunch will be provided; space is limited and priority will be given to faculty, students, and staff who teach at Caltech, with additional seats available to others as available.

RSVP by clicking this link Intro to Course Design RSVP, and please mark your calendars now for Tuesday, July 29, 11:00 am  1:00 pm; we will confirm participation by July 22, 2014.
