Explore the history of global textiles from the 15th to the 19th centuries, when textiles were traded internationally more than any other manufactured product. Hear the stories of those textiles as they travelled round the world and of the presenter's personal travels to museums and archives across the world to research them. Presented by Dr. John Styles, Searle Professor of History and historian from the Victoria and Albert Museum and the University of Hertfordshire England.
