Branes, Quivers and BPS Algebras

The cohomology of the moduli space of instantons is known to carry the structure of an affine-Yangian module. Such a module structure captures processes of bounding D0-branes to a stack of D4-branes. But how about D0-branes bound to more general configurations of branes? Using techniques of the derived category of coherent sheaves, we are going to construct a large class of framed quivers generalizing the famous ADHM moduli and describing these more general configurations. By running the standard machinery of the cohomological Hall algebra on such framed quivers, we recover an enormously rich representation theory of the affine Yangian.
