Multicontinuum Homogenization and Applications
Yalchin Efendiev, Ewing-Mobil Chair in Computational Science and Professor of Mathematics, Department of Mathematics and Institute of Scientific Computation, Texas A & M University,

In this talk, I will discuss an approach for multicontinuum homogenization. The main idea of this approach is to identify multiple continua at each macroscopic point. I will discuss a short history and the derivation.

Further, I will discuss its relation to previously developed multiscale methods and to solvers.
