Drop, cover, and hold on at 10:20 a.m., Thursday, October 20, as part of the Great California ShakeOut earthquake preparedness exercise. The annual event encourages participants to create family and organizational plans to help them survive and recover from earthquakes and other natural disasters.
Following the event, Caltech will host a personal preparedness fair on San Pasqual Walk for students and employees, offering advice on building a personal and family emergency plan, suggesting essential supplies you should have on hand for all members of your family, and more. The fair will include live demonstrations and on-site vendors.
