Part of Graduate Student Orientation 2016, the Graduate Studies Office would like to welcome new students! Orientation takes place starting with the Institute Convocation at 4:30pm on Sunday, September 18, and concludes with Teaching Assistant Training on Wednesday, September 21. Each day will be full of activities to help you prepare for and transition to graduate school at Caltech. We have organized a series of programs that will outline the expectations we have of you as a student and also a member of the Caltech community. All graduate orientation events are mandatory and we expect students to be fully engaged.Immediately following Convocation, please plan to join the Graduate Studies Office for a BBQ dinner hosted by the Graduate Dean, Doug Rees.
