Continental Scale Hydro Model Inter-comparison for SWOT
Cédric David, Dr, NASA JPL,

The Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission is a joint effort between NASA and the French Space Agency (CNES) that is currently scheduled for launch in early 2021.  SWOT is designed to observe water height and extent globally, including the largest rivers and lakes/reservoirs on land.  To best prepare for the terrestrial hydrology measurements of SWOT, an international collaborative effort is currently ongoing that aims to shed light on what one should expect from SWOT, and on how to best take advantage of the data.  The presentation will focus on the justification for the project and on the early findings on this collaborative effort.
