Film Screening: Prisoner of the Mountains (Kavkazskiy plennik)
In this 1996 film directed by Sergei Bodrov, two Russian soldiers are ambushed and taken prisoner by Muslim rebels in the forbidding Caucasus mountains. Their ordeal reveals the souls of two vastly different cultures. Based on the story by Leo Tolstoy. (98 minutes)
