Fall 2026 Dissertation Writing Bootcamp

We have seats for 25 students. Accepted students are expected to attend full-time both days. Register by Thursday, October 15, 2026 at noon PST.

The Caltech Library and the Graduate Studies Office invite graduate students who are writing their dissertations this Fall to join us for a 2-day in-person Dissertation Writing Bootcamp on November 9-10, 2026 in the Sherman Fairchild Library on the third floor.

The Bootcamp provides a a calm, distraction-free environment for writing your dissertation. In-person help is available over the two days and includes optional consultations with the Hixon Writing Center and Caltech Librarians to help students address writing, formatting, copyright and data management questions in particular.
