The Caltech Players present the Pulitzer Prize winning You Can't Take It With You, by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, for two weekends in August.

With its host of eccentric characters, this exuberant comedy has remained an American favorite for eighty years, yet is surprisingly timely in its themes of acceptance, inclusion, and tolerance, with its story of how a community can come together to become a family and have a blast in the meantime.

Director David Seal leads a cast and crew of students, staff, JPLers, alumni, and local talent. Together, these Caltech Players create a hilarious and touching evening of theatre suitable for all ages.

Performances run Friday through Sunday, August 10‑12, and Thursday through Saturday, August 16‑18. All performances begin at 8:00 p.m.

You Can't Take It With You is produced by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service.

EXPLiCIT (EXtracurricular PLayers at the California Institute of Technology) was formed in 2010 as a student- and community-run theater group dedicated to promoting theater at Caltech, producing summer performances, and providing support to Theater Arts Caltech and MACH 33: The Festival of New Science-Driven Plays at Caltech. Past productions include: The Ash Girl; Merry Wives of Windsor; Major Barbara; The Tempest; Midsummer Night's Dream; Big Love; Metamorphosis; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

This event is presented by EXPLiCIT with support from Theater Arts Caltech, Caltech Student Affairs, and others.
