1870s New Orleans. Mardi Gras.

Three women: the first to be married to a rich Spanish noble; the second destined to live out her life in confinement; the thrid the most famous courtesan in the South.

A Colonel, his Lieutenant, a sailor and a carpetbagger in town looking for love, dance and romance. Add to the mix Tejano Spanish aristocracy, servants, revelers and thieves.

Live Cajun Creole music! A cast of 40! A clash of honor and morals!

What happens when these women push beyond social boundaries in search of fulfillment in this postbellum romance-adventure?
