Presented By: Caltech Committee on Institute Programs

Sight is the king of the senses. More than 80 percent of what we know of the world comes through our eyes - without our sight, we're lost. This program explores the inner workings of our visual system as they have never been seen before, vividly confirming that ancient human adaptations prove no less crucial in modern life. A Discovery Channel production.

This stunning high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature.

Tara Adele Gomez, a Graduate Student in Biology at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

This event is made possible through Caltech's participation in the CineMuse Network.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
