Galapagos—The Islands That Changed The World
Beckman Auditorium
- Public Event
When Charles Darwin visited the Galapagos Islands in September 1835, his experiences and studies of this unique environment would change our understanding of life on Earth. With dramatic reconstruction and stunning wildlife images, this program explores a hidden side of the islands, revealing why, more than any other place, they are a showcase for evolution.
A BBC/National Geographic Channel US co-production.
Cecilia Sanders, a graduate student in Geological and Planetary Sciences at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.
