Getting Students to Teach Themselves, Instead of Lecturing at Them All the Time
Speaker: J. Morgan Kousser, Professor of History and Social Science at the California Institute of Technology
Professor Kousser was awarded the Richard P. Feynman Prize for Excellence in Teaching, the highest award for teaching at Caltech in 2011. He will discuss his unusual teaching methods, which are focused on helping Caltech science and engineering students to appreciate the intellectual rigor that forms the foundation of legal theory and practice.
