Course Design Workshop for Instructors
Are you teaching a course in Spring 2023?
The CTLO Course Design Workshop provides instructors with a collaborative environment in which to design a new course—or modify an existing course—optimized for student inclusion, learning, and engagement. The workshop addresses the questions "How do I create an effective course?" and "How do I get students involved in the learning process?"
Specific points of focus will include developing useful course learning goals, designing effective assignments, and creating an engaging syllabus. The optional afternoon working sessions will give participants time to draft, revise, and seek feedback on their course materials.
Lunch will be provided.
