This CERT class will be taught by Caltech Staff who are professionals in crisis and emergency response.

Come learn how to help yourself, your family, neighbors, and workplace following a catastrophic disaster. Take the CERT training and learn emergency preparedness, and skills to better prepare you in emergency situations. The program covers: Disaster Psychology, Terrorism, Disaster Preparedness, Light Search and Rescue, Fire Safety/Fire Suppression, and Disaster Medical Operations. The CERT class will conclude with a disaster simulation for those who complete all 8 units.

Participants must be pre-registered; you can take the courses that interest you without committing to the 9 units but must complete all class sessions to receive a CERT completion certificate and to attend the final disaster simulation.
