Community Conversation about Suicide
Recent high-profile deaths by suicide, as well as widely reported data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, highlight the need to redouble efforts to address this public heath crisis. Student Counseling Services and the Staff and Faculty Consultation Center invite you to a community conversation about suicide - what we know, how to help someone struggling with suicidal thoughts, and ways to get involved in suicide prevention efforts. Come join us in the common area of the Center for Diversity, 2nd floor of the Center for Student Services, on Wednesday, June 20th from 4:00 - 5:00.
