The Caltech Alternative PhD Careers Club has put together a panel on science writing for those interested in pursuing future careers in the field. One of our panelists, Laura DeFrancesco, is a senior Editor at Nature stationed right here in Pasadena. Laura got her PhD at UCSD, and did a post-doc at Caltech.
In addition, we have Doug Smith from Caltech's Engineering & Science Magazine, as well as Caltech PhD alum Mike Torrice, an assistant editor at Chemical & Engineering News.
