Caltech/JPL Association for Gravitational-Wave Research Seminar

It has been well-established that to maximize the science from LIGO, having coincident gravitational waves with an electromagnetic signal is key for source localization and identification. I will discuss recent theoretical research to identify new processes that will produce gravitational wave counterparts to known electromagnetic sources, and vice versa for known gravitational wave sources (like neutron star mergers).
