Directed and Introduced by Joanne Doyle

A rarely-seen play by the author of Peter Pan, adapted by Todd Brun.

What might happen if the denizens of Downton Abbey were shipwrecked on a tropical island? When the upper-crust Lasenby family find themselves in this very situation, they discover they are incapable of fending for themselves. Fortunately, their admirable butler, Crichton, comes to the rescue, teaching them not only how to survive, but thrive. But now that the ladies have changed their clothing from corsets to buckskins, might they change their romantic affections from dandies to ... butlers? Witty humor blends with warm satire in Barrie's classic comedy that shocked its original 1902 audiences.

Admission is $3.00 for members of the Caltech Women's Club; $4.00 for all others. Doors open at 7:15. Light refreshments will be served after the reading.
