Biosafety - Comprehensive Training

This course is designed for individuals who are working with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) microorganisms or human blood, cell lines, or other potentially infectious human materials. The course presents biosafety information.

From 1:00 to 2:30, basic Biosafety and Blood Borne Pathogen training will be offered followed by more lab specific training including a one hour training on viral vectors and one hour training on biotoxins. Not all students will need the full complement of training. If all topics are required, the training is scheduled for 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Regardless of number of modules, the session starts at 1:00 PM for all students.
