This is the second week of waltz and cha cha. It is not too late to join!

This class series is an introduction to competitive style international ballroom and latin dancing, suitable both for dancers interested in learning ballroom and for students with no prior dance experience. We'll begin with four weeks of Quickstep and Rumba, followed by four weeks of Waltz and Cha-Cha. The class will cover choreography and routines in all four dances, as well as technique for both performance and lead-follow social dancing.

Cost:

  • Free for Caltech students (with ID)
  • $8 per class or $60/series (8 weeks) in advance for Caltech affiliates and alumni and for students of other universities (with ID)
  • $12 per class or $90/series (8 weeks) in advance for all others

Prerequisites: No special attire, partner, or previous dance experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that won't fall off while dancing.
